Forum Tips.

I'll keep editing this post with tips on how to use this forum software.

  • Using emoji seems a bit clunky. If you click the ☺ icon you only see eight different ones. If you enter a : it'll show a list, which gets filtered based on any letters you add.
  • You can hide text, so it's only visible if a person highlights it, by preceding it with >!. This doesn't work in lists, I guess.
  • In addition to Markdown, you can also use some HTML to format your posts. <mark>, <center>, and <br> work, for example.
  • If you want your avatar to have a transparent background it has to be a PNG. GIFs end up getting filled in black, for some reason.
