Mr. Drumstix' Music Studio is a fun tool for making music. Mr Drumstix himself will play along with your tunes, and you can always give bits of his kit a whack. You have a piano roll, virtual keyboards and guitars, and can select from the typical set of MIDI instruments.
There are some fun games included too. I like the one where you have to guess the instrument.
Mr Drumstix is my hero.
