Audacity is a capable freeware multitrack audio recording and manipulation tool, available on a number of hardware platforms, ie: Windows, Mac, Linux, and BSD.
Useful features of Audacity include:
- The ability to record whatever audio your computer is currently playing.
- Multitrack editing.
